December practice schedule change

Due to the Puget Sound Challenge on Dec. 16th, we will not be having a Sunday practice session that day. Remaining practice sessions for December are the following: Dec. 9th, and Dec. 30th.

Sign up for the Puget Sound Challenge - Dec. 10 deadline

Tacoma’s Puget Sound Speedskating Club is hosting its second annual competition on Sunday, Dec. 16th - the Puget Sound Speedskating Challenge.

Top skaters will compete for the coveted Challenge Cup.
Other skaters will be awarded medals.

The competition is open to skaters of all ages and abilities. Registrations
close on December 10.

Puget Sound Short Track Speedskating Challenge

Date: Sunday, December 16, 2007, Noon-5:00 p.m.
Location: Puget Sound Hockey Center, 1918 Stewart Street, Tacoma, WA

CHECK IN: 11:00 - 11:40 a.m. (Second Floor)
WARM UP: 12:00 - 12:40 p.m.
RACING: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
ENTRY FEE: $25 per skater ($65 max per family)
ENTRY DUE DATE: December 10, 2007

All skaters must be members of U.S. Speedskating or Speedskating Canada.
Exception: Skaters trying speedskating for the first time will be exempted
from this registration requirement on the understanding that they are not
covered by any insurance.
